Ari González wins the most important test of the day in Heras

The Asturian rider Ari González, riding Liberty ES, was the winner of the most important test of the day, the Mainsa trophy, in the three-star category National Jumping Competition that will be held from yesterday until tomorrow Sunday at the Heras Horses&Events . Over obstacles at 1.35 meters, the pair was the fastest among the nine that finished both phases of the course without failure. Second place went to Kevin González de Zárate from Alava, with Urbain des Grezils, while the Cantabrian rider Celia Cobo had a most outstanding performance. Celia was third with Kristal’s Beauty B and fifth with I’am Dutch P&M.

González de Zárate got even in another of the program’s events, the PPG Trophy, with obstacles at a height of 1.30 meters. The Vitorian took the first two places in the competition. First place was achieved by Ara from St. Anne Z, in a time of 65.76 seconds. The second position was also tied, this time with Cinsey EK stopping the clock at 68.14. The Basque rider Garazi Landeta was third, with Camile de Mesie.

Another rider from Vitoria, Diego Azofra, was the most outstanding in the Nippon trophy, with obstacles over 1.20 meters and in which there were a greater number of participants, 40. Azofra was riding his mare Bayona. The second position corresponded to the Cantabrian rider Marina Pérez, with Bruja de Llamosas.

The competition will continue today in Heras, starting at half past nine in the morning, with three other trophies.
