Alcorcón announced on Friday that it had sold all the tickets for the match against Racing despite the exorbitant ticket prices. If that is true and the green and white fans have bought their seats through the potter’s website, the yellows will have made money and almost a third of those attending will be racing fans. And among them will sit the president of the club, Manolo Higuera, and the institutional representative, Víctor Diego, who will express their support for the fans for the economic effort to support the team and their disagreement with the host’s pricing policy. In the box, as the visible head of the Cantabrian entity, will be the general director, Felipe Llamazares.

Alcorcón sent 300 tickets at the price of twenty euros to Santander, which were quickly sold out. Despite Racing’s attempt to get more seats at that price, the attempt was not successful and Alcorcón put the cheapest ticket at 36 euros and the grandstand tickets at 50. A measure designed to take advantage of the always important green and white trips and the large neighborhood that the fans have in Madrid and that makes efforts to see their team. In fact, it is not a new situation with rivals from the Autonomous Community. It already happened with Dux Internacional, Rayo Majadahonda and San Sebastián de los Reyes, although the latter rectified it.

It will not be the first time that Manolo Higuera and his board make a decision of this type. In 2016, in the confrontation between Racing de Ferrol and Racing, in which the league championship of group I of Second Division B was also at stake, after another disagreement over tickets with the Galician club, the president and other members of the Council of Administration went to the bottom of the Cantabrian fans in A Malata.

The number of green and white fans there may be in Santo Domingo is unknown, but it is estimated that it could exceed a thousand followers.
